The Post Turtle Is Still Doing It’s Balancing Act

I found this amusing post at vanshaver.com a few years ago during one of President Obama’s terms in office. After reading it I thought how on-point the old rancher’s explanation to his doctor just what a post turtle is. Considering President Obama’s many blunders during his back-to-back terms as our president it seemed fitting for the old rancher to describe Obama as a post turtle. I found the story so on-point I decided to save it for a rainy day as they say.

Well folks I do believe we have had quite a few rainy days since then so without further delay it is time to dust off this story of a Post Turtle in honor of our current president who has over forty-five years of blunders registered to his legacy as a senator in Delaware (36 years) and as vice president during President Obama’s two terms. And now one year into his time as president of the United States of America and the supposed leader of the free countries of the world, Biden’s Blunders really stand out!

This rerun of the old rancher’s explanation of what a post turtle is, really hits a home run!

Post Turtle

While suturing up a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand had been caught in the gate while working his cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama, and his being our president.

The old rancher said, “Well, ya know, Obama Biden is just a Post Turtle.”

Now not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked,

What’s a “Post Turtle?”

The old rancher said, “When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle.

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain.

“You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, he sure as heck ain’t goin’ anywhere, and you just wonder what kind of idiot put him up there in the first place.”
